Since it's much easier to make fruits and veggies with Gardens than it is to breed chickens you'll typically want to make Largo combinations that help towards this end.ĩ. Try to mix meat eating slimes with slimes that eat fruit/veggies. This slime is deadly to the rancher and can't be farmed for Plorts or for money in anyway.Ĩ. Feeding a Largo the Plort of a different slime will cause him to transform into a Tarr Slime. For the first part of the game don't bother with Hen-hens or Chicken Coopsħ. Focus on getting a stable farm first and exploring the world.Ħ. Don't bother too much with the Range Exchange until later in the game. Once you’ve constructed the Slime Stage, place it somewhere you’re reasonably confident things won’t bump into it. To construct a Slime Stage, you’ll need to purchase the blueprint from the shop for 3,500 coins, as well as the following components: When a slime is placed on the Slime Stage, it won’t move from it unless it’s deliberately agitated, and the same goes for Gold Slimes. Luckily, there exists such a means: the #1 Slime Stage. You need to create a special means of holding them in place. You can stash them temporarily in a pen, but they’re slippery, and if they get out, they’ll make a break for it and despawn. Remember to use the Pulse Wave as you shoot the Pink Slimes to give them some extra distance and oomph.Įven once the Gold Slime is in the ranch, you’re not done. It probably won’t go all the way past the gates, so just suck up some nearby Pink Slimes and shoot them into the Gold Slime to push it the rest of the way. At a safe distance, grab the Slime in the stream, then swing the stream in the direction of your ranch to sling the Slime closer to it. While you can’t capture a Gold Slime in your Vacpack, you can grab it in your vac-gun’s stream as long as you’re a reasonable distance away, it won’t react to your presence, even if it’s lifted into the air. When a Gold Slime appears near your ranch, stand far enough away that you can reach it with your vac stream without alerting it. You need one to spawn in the same vicinity as your ranch if it’s too far away, the process will become much more complicated, bordering on impossible.
